JIG
LeFrost
Born Jordan I. Garrett in Oakland, California in 1996, JIG LeFrost had a knack for music since a young age becoming a self-taught drummer playing gigs across the Bay Area starting at age 10. JIG decided to pursue a career in music full time after performing his first written rap song, with help from his late father, at a high school talent show. JIG LeFrost immediately sunk his teeth into the music industry teaching himself to engineer and produce his own songs. By 2016 he was performing with a litany of major acts and became a pioneer for the Bay Area’s underground rap scene.
JIG LeFrost's music is a reflection of his life’s extremes; showcasing vulnerability in songs like I Didn't Mean to Disappear and frigid bravado in songs like The Truth. Where JIG LeFrost, truly shines is in his ability to narrate a world he describes as being in Crisis.

JIG LeFrost's latest release I'm Right Here–– which features production from Juberlee (Billboard #1), Jus Vibes (Grammy Nominated), Curious George (Wiz Khalifa), and Sims Cashion–– was featured on the front page of Apple Music Hip Hop and positions JIG as a budding star in the underground rap scene.

"Some people were born to tell stories, and we believe JIG is one of those people. Watching the sun pass through his stained glass windows JIG tells us all about his life with laughter, immense loss, and most stunningly, a complete and absolute openness in seeing the world for the beautiful mess it is." - Chuck Magazine
